Embrace the magic of the Solstice with a weekend dedicated to relaxation, balance, and inner peace, using our Georgian townhouse, Fairlawn House, as your cosy base.
Your weekend includes:
Friday evening: Check in, choose from many wonderful eateries within an easy walk from our front door.
Saturday morning: Time to explore — pop next door for Christmas shopping at One Brown Cow, visit The History Centre, or take a short trip to Salisbury.
Saturday evening: Join the Amesbury Mid-Winter Lantern Procession, a Celebration of Light. Gather in the Drawing Room at Fairlawn House, then walk to Abbey Spring to find the Solstice Lantern, lit at Stonehenge at sunset. Lanterns and mulled wine provided!
Sunday morning: Walk, cycle, or drive to Stonehenge for a magical Solstice sunrise. (Bike hire available on request.)
Sunday afternoon: Return for a soul-nourishing sound bath in The Cellar. There is no better way to rest before Christmas
